Dear garden club members, I hope you enjoyed our Christmas craft session. I saw beautiful creations and totally enjoyed my wreath which stayed fresh and my beautifully sharpened clippers. I ended up with a red pair of clippers in one of my boxes so will bring to next meeting. Loving the snow but glad I don’t have to be anywhere! Got a beautiful waxed Amaryllis for Christmas and watching it grow (so fast) and flower so beautifully was a present unto itself. Found a speaker for May so that’s one month done. The Executive has received feedback that members are finding it difficult to attend evening meetings and so a question should be asked - would we prefer to move the meetings to daytime? We realise that driving at night gets hard in our dark winters. Please hit "reply all" to this email stating your preference. It was also mentioned that some members had difficulty hearing speakers - please feel free to sit upfront if you have any problems with the sound. Hope you all survived the season and snowstorms.
