Dear garden club members: Everything is on halt but the beautiful plants in our gardens that are coming out in full flower. Have decided on planting vegetables that I like, lots of Walla Walla onions, potatoes, peas - sweet sugar and regular and yesterday I started a strawberry patch, yum!

I am very good at staying home except for one area - nurseries. I know, but Phoenix was calling me when I had to drop a car off for expats in isolation. Southlands was close too so had to visit it.

For those that have asked for pig manure, I might drive out with my husband and pick some up (just a pickup) so if you want some let me know. I have a list started already. I might have to go by Free Spirit.

I think the Bradner Flower Show will be cancelled and month by month I will cancel speakers - it’s going to get worse before it gets better. So please everybody be safe stay close to home I hope you are all surviving this frightening time. Love Cathy - be well.
