We are pleased to welcome back Egan Davis, who has been such a good friend to us he hardly needs an introduction. He will present two elements of popular talks he has given elsewhere.  One will be on garden design of which he has experience from large, major gardens in BC.  Secondly, if there is enough time, he will talk on his expedition to Pink Mountain.

Not only does he feel he was born to be a gardener, he is also building healthy attitudes to gardening at a variety of levels: in the Horticultural Training Program at UBC, by sitting on the Board of Directors of HortEd BC, lecturing at conferences, helping to develop industry standards and policies, as well as energizing groups like ours. He has a wealth of experience, from his early days at Park and Tilford with Todd Major, his responsibilities at Van Dusen and now at UBC Botanical Gardens. Throughout, he has maintained a simple approach, saying the gardener needs only three tools, Sun, Soil, and Water.
