Brian is a "perennial" favourite, because he shares practical tips and ideas. His topic at our March meeting was “Exciting New Trends in Europe” - and our members made sure very few of his exhibits made it back home!

About West Van Garden Club

The West Vancouver Garden Club was founded in 1962 by a small group of gardening enthusiasts who wanted to meet with others who shared their passion. Help us grow, by inviting friends and neighbours to learn more about preserving our natural plants, birds and bees.

monthly MeetingS

Every month, our members enjoy in-depth educational talks by local garden experts. Enjoy refreshments, buy from the plants table (donated by members) and maybe win a door prize!

DISCOUNTS

Members enjoy a 10% discount at Maple Leaf Garden Centre upon presentation of a current membership card. Our regular newsletter keeps you updated on upcoming and past events and what you should be doing in your garden this month.

volunteer

The best ways to meet friends is to volunteer. Join one of our committees and help with refreshments, welcome members or contribute to the plant table.  Join the executive to contribute ideas that build the club. Your expertise is welcome and invaluable.

SPECIAL EVENTS

Visit our open gardens in the spring or summer; we have our famous Strawberry Social in July, and Christmas celebration in December. Share your advice and challenges with people who share your passion for gardening and nature.
