Linda is an instructor in Master Gardener programs in BC and is busy year-round giving workshops on pest management and organic gardening. A Salt Spring resident since 2001, Linda devotes her time to writing, teaching, and consulting.
Ryo Sugiyama is the Japanese garden curator at Nitobe Memorial Garden in UBC and spoke on "Japanese gardening and the history of Nitobe Garden"

If you've ever paused to admire a flash of shimmering green or ruby red flitting among your flowers, you've likely been visited by a hummingbird—one of the garden's most magical guests. Carol Matthews gave a delightful presentation to members of West Vancouver Garden Club in September.

What an amazing day! Our 2025 Annual Plant Sale on May 3rd was a roaring success - so many terrific plants donated by our members!
It is in Giverny where Monet was most fully able to express himself as a gardener, over the nearly 43 years that he lived there, from 1883 to his death in 1926. Dante's presentation provided an overview of what shaped the gardens Monet created there, and how those gardens were restored in the late 1970s.
